ABOUT US
Citizens & Friends of Trinidad & Tobago is comprised of a diverse and multi-national membership whose main focus is improving the lives of children in need. Some of our medical accomplishments include providing Laparoscopic Surgery Training in Trinidad and donating the medical equipment and supplies necessary to provide this training. Other accomplishments include purchasing and distributing food baskets to needy families and family agencies in Trinidad and Tobago. These items were purchased with cash donations received from various individuals.
Citizens & Friends of Trinidad & Tobago has also donated library books to a newly renovated school library in Laventille along with making donations to the following organizations:

- Helpful Alliance for Needy Kids, Scarborough
- Hospice House – a Shelter for Homeless and Abused Children
- Immortelle School for Exceptional Children
- JB Cancer Foundation for Children
- P.A.V.I. School for Blind Children
- St. James Police Youth Club, Petit Valley
- St. Martin Pre-School
SOME OF OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Our other accomplishments include providing medical relief and basic supplies to Honduras and several other Central American countries after Hurricane Mitch via Mission International. We have donated food, water and clothing towards the Samoa Earthquake Relief, donated medical equipment to Grenada and provided financial aid to Guyana flood victims via Guyana Medical Relief. CFTT has also made monetary donations to the Venezuela Flood Relief and the Indian Earthquake Relief via Direct Relief International and to The Haitian Relief Program. In Los Angeles we have also donated to: The Sickle Cell Foundation, Foundation for the Jr. Blind, Charlotte House, Harvest Church and The Minority Health Foundation. We have also donated toys to Genesee House – a family shelter in Los Angeles, California and assisted in getting toys delivered to a local church in Los Angeles for an Angel tree program which provided a Christmas celebration for children whose parents are incarcerated. CFTT also provides food baskets to needy families in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Members of CTFF also donate time and funds to read to students at a ULI CDF Freedom Summer School program in Lynwood, California.
Our Community Services also include assisting citizens of Trinidad and Tobago in California in getting their new electronic birth certificates and new machine readable passports.
